Speaker Bio:
Melody Young is an Enterprise Product Owner at Arizona State University. In 2014, she began her career as registered nurse, working in both hospital and clinical settings. In 2018 she transitioned from a healthcare profesional to business and systems management. During her career transition, she was drawn to the impact of analytical work and Project Management. She acquired her Certified Associate Project Management (CAPM) certification as well as studied Business Analysis practices. Although hired as a Business Analyst for ASU, the last two years, Melody has primarily acted in the role of Product Owner building and managing up to 4 Enterprise Products at a given time. Because of her cross functional role as product owner and business analyst, she was excited by the prospect of the Product Owner Analyst role and was among the first business professionals internationally to acquire her CPOA certification in June 2021.
