About IIBA®

The International Institute of Business Analysis™ (IIBA®) is a non-profit professional association serving the growing field of business analysis. As the global thought leader and voice of the business analysis community, IIBA® actively supports the recognition of the profession, and works to maintain global standards for the ongoing development of the practice and certifications. 

Local chapters advance the mission and objectives of the IIBA by promoting professional standards and practices at the local level. Ongoing professional development is a key benefit to membership and is supported at the chapter level through activities, meetings, and educational programs.

Joining IIBA and participating in the local chapter acknowledges a professional’s commitment to high performance and excellence in the area of business analysis. Additionally, association with like-minded professionals leads to a sharing of ideas and formulation of best practices.

 
 


 

About the International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA)

 
The IIBA held its inaugural meeting in October 2003, in Toronto, Canada with 28 founding members from 21 different organizations representing over eight countries.

On April 7, 2005, the IIBA held its second Annual General Meeting. The meeting was held in Toronto Canada and was attended by people from across the United States and Canada. The IIBA Constitution Amendments were voted on and accepted and the three Board of Directors were elected.
