Overview of Presentation:
How accessible is your organization's digital content? Do you use the web to communicate with customers? To attract new business?
Without realizing it, your company may be missing a huge opportunity to reach a significant portion of the population. We'll talk about what accessibility is, give you some simple tests you can do yourself, and discuss ideas for promoting accessibility throughout your organization.
Speaker Bio:
Kathy Marks is the IT Accessibility Coordinator with the University Technology Office at ASU. She helps develop ASU's IT accessibility guidelines and standards, testing strategies, and educational and training efforts. She's worked in web development for over 20 years, the last 12 of them with ASU.
