Business Analysts and Data Analytics

Every company collects data. Whether it's who your customers are, what and how they're buying your products, or shifts happening in the current market, data has the power to predict the future of business. So it's no wonder that business data analytics is one of the most exciting areas of technology today. Every company collects data. Whether it's who your customers are, what and how they're buying your products, or shifts happening in the current market, data has the power to predict the future of business. So it's no wonder that business data analytics is one of the most exciting areas of technology today.

Because raw data only paints part of the picture, business data analysts are becoming more in demand. This role combines the technical skills of data science and the strategic thinking of business analysis to focus on the business problems you're trying to solve and how to extract meaningful insights from the data.

In this FREE webinar, we're lucky to have IIBA Chief Engagement and Growth Officer, Keith Ellis to dive into what business data analytics is and why there is a growing demand for business analysts that can interpret data.
Keith will share how you can start your career as a business data analyst, the skills you'll need to be successful, and how the IIBA certification can help you hone your craft.

He will cover topics including:

  • Who are the IIBA?
  • What is business data analytics, and why is it a growing industry?
  • What is the role of the business analyst in data analytics?
  • What skills do business data analysts need to be successful?
  • What are the benefits of the IIBA® Certification in Business Data Analytics (CBDA)?
  • How to get certified?
